Biblically, we are told to teach as many people as we can about Jesus' testimony. Mt 28:19, 20. Jesus says to come after him and he will make that person a fisher of men Mk 1:17. One may choose to deny this biblical responsibility to inform others, however, Lk 12:47-48 says that for those who know much, more will be expected and for those who know little, less will be expected. One may choose to ignore this concern, by pointing to Lk 12:22, 31. It states that Jesus said to take no thought for physical cares of the day, rather instead to care more for the kingdom of God, but fulfillment of the "Last days" prophecy is in accordance with the kingdom of God. For according to Rev 19:10, the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. And in the last days, as written in Acts 2:17, God will pour out his spirit upon all flesh and they shall prophesy. Mt 24:37-39 describes the last days as being a time similar to the days of Noah before the great flood. It is described to be a time when there is forewarning, though only a few will listen or prepare. Just as Noah and his family survived the 40 days and nights of the flood, Heb 11:7 & Gen 7:4, we are being biblically forewarned to prepare for the 42 months of 666. As explained in Rev 13:5, 15-18 this will be a time when only those who take the mark (666) will be allowed to buy or sell and those who refuse it will be killed.
As Jesus proclaims, in the book of Revelation, one should have no fear of this time for he has overcome not only this world, but both evil and death. Further is explained that, for those who do Jesus' will, victorious awards await them! Rev 1:8, 17-18; 2:10-11, 26-28; 3:5, 12, 20-22. ![]() |
